Encouraging Flock Health

Included in the Flock Health Club is one free vet visit per year (this includes visit fee and 1hr of time). This can be used on a visit of your choice, however we would encourage it be used to further your flock health. A Red Tractor compliant Farm Assurance review is also included.

Financial Benefits

Club members receive discounts on the most commonly used medicines in sheep flocks. They also receive one free ram fertility test per year (10% off additional rams), 10% off vasectomies and a set caesarean price.  

Engaging with Farmers

We hope pro-active farmers will be keen to join the Club and engage with like-minded producers. Included in the Club is quarterly seminars on relevant topics, utilising on-farm data and external speakers. Also a yearly group visit to either a farm or workshop is included for more practical learning. 

Engaging with Vets

Members of the Club are part of a WhatsApp group with our vets and other members. This allows for open questions/answers and encourages open discussion about issues and treatments. It is also a way to keep informed about upcoming Club events.

Protecting your Flock

In order to protect your flock from internal parasites, as well as ensuring effective and appropriate anthelmintic use; we encourage worm egg counting. Members of the Club have a complimentary 4 worm egg counts a year and 1 fluke egg count. This can be used on samples of your choice.

Progressing Forwards

The key part of engaging with our Flock Health Club in the early days of its developments is that it is still evolving. We are looking for pro-active farmers who will help shape the Club in order for us to tailor it to your preferences.
